Karan and Neel Kunjur on Building Satellites the Industry Said Were Impossible

Karan and Neel Kunjur, co-founders of K2 Space, explain why they believe the satellite industry's race toward smaller spacecraft optimized around the wrong constraint — and why, in their view, building bigger was never a physics problem, just an engineering one nobody had solved. In conversation with ICONIQ General Partner Tengbo Li, the brothers trace their path from their grandfather's factory floor in India to their own satellite factory, where their first mission, Gravitas, fired the highest-power Hall thruster ever launched to space.
